WebLogic first to have versioning, bah

Just read on Camerons blog that BEA said they now had the first hot-something-blah where new users were migrated to the new version of an old while the existing users timed out on the current version. WebSphere XD 6.0 shipped on July 29th and supports that among other models for handling routing between multiple versions/editions of an application all concurrently in service.

The difference between BEA and IBM is that BEA's products are praised by non-BEA employees.

Should tell you something...

Moreover, I think this is a really important feature for an app server. What is that XD after "WebSphere"? I guess is something that would cost us a lot more than what our ND licenses already are costing, and which lack such an important functionality.
